To change the phone number for your account, follow these steps:
- Open the EVCS app on your mobile device.
- Click on the Profile icon at the bottom-right of the screen.
- Scroll down to the Account section and click Account Details.
- Click your Phone number.
- Click into the text box and type the new phone number then tap outside of the text box area to remove the keypad.
- Press the Save button.
- Your phone will receive a confirmation code via text message, which you can then input into the "Code" field.
- Press the Continue button.
Troubleshooting
Code never received
In the event that the code does not arrive, please double-check the phone number you entered to make sure it is correct. Afterward you may click the link: "Didn't receive a code? Resend it" and a new code will be sent to the provided phone number. Codes should arrive immediately, however it may take up to a minute or so for those to arrive via text.
If the code still does not arrive, you may want to check with your phone provider to assure that text messages are able to be received.
Error: Invalid / already used phone number
This error message indicates that the phone number you are attempting to add has already been connected to an EVCS account. Please check the number and try again.
