Connector Types
- J-1772
- Usage: Standard connector for Level 2 chargers.
- Compatibility: Works with most electric vehicles (EVs) for Level 2 charging.
- CCS (Combined Charging System)
- Usage: Commonly used for Level 3 DC Fast chargers.
- Compatibility: Supports high-speed charging for various EV models.
- CHAdeMO
- Usage: Another option for Level 3 DC Fast chargers.
- Compatibility: Primarily used by certain Japanese manufacturers for fast charging.
- NACS (North American Charging Standard)
- Usage: New standard recently adopted for North American EVs.
- Compatibility: Designed to work with a growing number of vehicles and charging stations.
Connector Availability
- Not all connectors are available at all sites: Each EVCS location may have a different set of connectors based on the station's configuration.
- Check connector types at each station before arrival: Use the EVCS app or website to verify which connectors are available at the charging station you plan to visit.
