Can I cancel my rental plan at any time?
Yes, customers may cancel their plans at any time. Cancellations will be scheduled for the end of your current billing cycle, during which time you will be able to use the remainder of your charging allotment. See Cancel your subscription plan for details.
Is there a contract or commitment period for these rental plans?
There are no commitment periods; plans simply renew weekly.
Are there any additional charges or fees associated with rideshare plans?
The prices shown are what you will pay, with no hidden charges. However EVCS rideshare plans include a weekly kWh allotment depending upon which plan you have selected. Overage fees will apply once you exceed your weekly limit. You can find details on the overage rates in each plan's description.
Currently, EVCS does not charge session or idle fees. Please note that any fees related to the vehicle rental itself are the responsibility of the renter and should be addressed with the rental company directly.

When can I charge with the Rideshare Off-Peak plan?
Off-Peak plan subscribers must charge between 10 pm to 6 am (according to EVCS servers) to count toward the subscription plan allotment.
Please note that sessions initiated outside of this timeframe will be billed at the standard Pay As You Go rate and are not eligible for refund, regardless of circumstances.
Do the plans automatically renew?
Hertz Rideshare plans do automatically renew at the end of the cycle.
How many miles of range will I get before I exceed the weekly allotment on my plan?

Are there any discounts available for long-term rentals or frequent users?
Currently we do not offer promotional or VIP discounts.
Approved Lyft drivers who achieve Standard or Pro driving status may qualify for additional discounts on our non-Rideshare Premium or Off-peak plans. More details can be found on our Lyft rideshare page Save with EVCS.
Can I extend my rental plan if I need to use it for a longer period?
Yes, Hertz rideshare plans automatically renew (unless canceled).
Can I share the rental plans with other individuals or family members?
Per our Terms and Conditions, Hertz plans may only be used by one person to charge one car. EVCS reserves the right to terminate a user account if the terms are not followed.
Are the charging sessions available 24/7?
Most of our locations are accessible 24/7, with a few exceptions. Some locations may only be available during business hours. For more information, visit the location details on the EVCS app.
Do Hertz plans include a free trial?
No, all 3 Hertz subscription plans are billed immediately upon signup.
