At EVCS, we support a range of connector types to ensure compatibility with various electric vehicles. Understanding the different connectors available will help you use our charging stations effectively.

Connector Types

  1. J-1772 j1772-40-b.png
    • Usage: Standard connector for Level 2 chargers.
    • Compatibility: Works with most electric vehicles (EVs) for Level 2 charging.
  2. CCS (Combined Charging System) ccs-40-b.png
    • Usage: Commonly used for Level 3 DC Fast chargers.
    • Compatibility: Supports high-speed charging for various EV models.
  3. CHAdeMO chademo-40-b.png
    • Usage: Another option for Level 3 DC Fast chargers.
    • Compatibility: Primarily used by certain Japanese manufacturers for fast charging.
  4. NACS (North American Charging Standard) tesla-40-b.png
    • Usage: New standard recently adopted for North American EVs.
    • Compatibility: Designed to work with a growing number of vehicles and charging stations.

Connector Availability

  • Not all connectors are available at all sites: Each EVCS location may have a different set of connectors based on the station's configuration.
  • Check connector types at each station before arrival: Use the EVCS app or website to verify which connectors are available at the charging station you plan to visit.

How to Check Connector Types

  1. EVCS App
    • Open the EVCS app.
    • Search for and tap the station pin on the map.
    • Review the list of available connectors for that station.
  2. EVCS Website
    • Visit the EVCS network map or station finder.
    • Search for and select the station pin on the map.
    • Review the list of available connectors for that station.

By knowing which connector types are supported at each station, you can ensure a seamless and efficient charging experience.
