In this Guide
1. Getting Started
Opening the App and Navigating to Charge
Open the EVCS mobile app and tap the Charge tab at the bottom of the screen.
Scanning the QR Code or Entering Station ID
Scan the QR code on the station, or enter the Station ID manually (located just below the QR code sticker) then tap Next.
Confirming You're Plugged In and Starting Charge
Tap Start Charging, then confirm that your vehicle has been plugged in and tap Yes, Start Charging.
2. During Your Charging Session
Monitoring Progress
Your charging session will begin shortly. Please note that some station models may require you to press the Start button on the front of the machine in order to begin the session. If this is the case, the Start button will flash regularly.
You can monitor the charging progress from the charging screen.
Understanding Billing (Subscription vs. Pay As You Go)
Users with an active subscription plan will have their kWh applied toward their weekly or monthly plan allowance. Any overages will be billed at the standard overage rate for their plan.
Pay As You Go customers will be billed at the price per kWh listed for that station.
3. Ending Your Session
Stopping the Charge in the App
Once your session has completed, press the End Charging Session button in the EVCS app to end the session.
Viewing Your Charging Receipt
Once the session has finished, you will see a summary of your charging session receipt. This receipt is also available after-the-fact in the EVCS app by clicking Profile > Charging History and clicking on the line item in question.
