This guide walks you through the steps to change the phone number associated with your EVCS account within the mobile application.


Changing Your Phone Number

  1. Open the EVCS app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap Profile > Account Details.
  3. Tap the Phone number to update your current number.
  4. Tap the Save button.

Confirm Your Change

Your phone will receive a confirmation code via text message. Input this into the Code field then press the Continue button.


Troubleshooting

Code Never Received

In the event that the code does not arrive, please double-check the phone number you entered to make sure it is correct. Afterward, click the Didn't receive a code? Resend it link, and a new code will be sent to the provided phone number. Codes should arrive immediately; however, it may take up to a minute or so for those to arrive via text.

If the code still does not arrive, you may want to check with your phone provider to assure that text messages are able to be received.

Error: Invalid or Already Used Phone Number

This error message indicates that the phone number you are attempting to add has already been connected to an EVCS account. Please check the number and try again.
